Recipe for Mutton Tikka Karahi

Ingredients


  • Mutton ½ kg (boneless)
  • Raw papaya paste 1 tbsp
  • Yogurt 3 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Red chili powder 1 tsp
  • Turmeric ¼ tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin 1 tsp
  • Food color 1 pinch (orange red)
  • Fresh coriander leaves (chopped) 2 tbsp
  • Onion 1 (sliced) for garnishing
  • Tomato (sliced) for garnishing
  • Lemon for garnishing
  • Green chili for garnishing

Cooking Directions

Marinate mutton in papaya, yogurt, ginger garlic paste, salt, lemon juice, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander powder, cumin and food color for 2 hours.

Then pour 1/4 cup oil in a skillet and put mutton in it.

Cover and cook on low heat till meat is cooked through.

Then place a slice of onion over the cooked meat and place a piece of inflamed coal over the onion.

Drizzle a little oil over the cover, immediately cover with a tight lid and let it sit for 5 minutes.

Now take out in a serving dish and garnish with onion rings, tomato slices, lemon, fresh coriander leaves and green chili.
